Can I use my Existing Phone Number?
Some Unified Messaging users already have an existing phone number in one of the cities in the Unified Messaging network, and do not wish to distribute a new number. By placing a forward on this existing number to your Unified Messaging advanced messaging service number (which does a whole lot more) you get access to the advanced messaging facilities without changing your number. Furthermore, as an alternative to a second line in your house or office Unified Messaging is unbeatable - its cheaper, with no expensive ongoing charges, no wires and of course there is no need for a fax or answering machine on the end of the line. Remember too, that Unified Messaging can you give a phone number in many cities around the world.

Can I use my existing E-Mail Address?
Of course! We give everyone an E-mail address but of course you do not have to use it. You can forward any Virtualplus E-mail message straight to your existing E-mail. Or to make the facility more accessible, forward your existing E-mail to Unified Messaging and collect your E-mail messages over the phone (our system reads it out to you), web, fax, pager or SMS Mobile phone.

Why Unified Messaging? I already have Fax \Voicemail software on my PC!
These systems suffer from several big disadvantages - to name a few...1) your PC has to be on 24 hours a day, 2) you need a modem, 3) you need an second phone line 4) Your machine has to be where this line is installed and 5) you have to collect your messages using the PC itself - its not very mobile.
